Well done to all of our choir students who sang their socks off at the Country and Western night and Carol singing.

Hi, we are 6 students, aged 12 to 18 years.  We work from different curriculums to meet the needs of the group. The emphasis is on learning through doing. Life skills and academic work are taught in class and then practiced through Fieldtrips, Cooking, Woodwork, Art activities and Social Training.

We too are working on some of the JCSP Programme and are looking forward to running a pilot programme of the new Junior Certificate Level 2.

Short trips to date -nature walks in Belvedere, farm trip to Glendeer, weekly Post Office (Saving) trips, Apache Pizza and The Emporium as well as shopping in Dunnes,  Dealz, Heatons, Fagans and Lloyds chemist. We celebrated a landmark 18th birthday with a 2 course formal meal in The Church restaurant.

Work experience training has begun for 4 students in the school base. We hope you enjoy looking at us in action. Look at the slide show and of our photos from Science week. You might also catch a glimpse of us on the Woodwork page as we work on The Christmas Village Project.
